How does my Dimple subscription work? Dimple定期計劃如何運作?

New customers receive a free 10 day trial of Dimple contact lenses (with an HKD 28.00 shipping fee or HKD 46.00 for Express shipping). Your paid subscription will start 15 days after you placed your trial order but you can change this but editing your next order date in the portal. 

We offer two subscription options: A one month supply (60 contact lenses) for HKD 268.00  including free shipping or a three month supply (180 lenses) for HKD 720.00 including free shipping. The card you used for the payment of the trial order will be charged for future orders, however, you can update your card details through the customer portal.

新客戶可先登記試戴Dimple隱形眼鏡10天,只需支付 HKD 28 標準郵費或 HKD 46 速遞運費。為確保您有足夠時間試戴,定期計劃將於登記試用的15天後才自動開始。

默認計劃為每四星期兩盒30片隱形眼鏡(共60片),直接送到您府上。您亦可以登入您的帳戶,推遲計劃開始日期、或更改送貨週期為6、8或12星期。 定期計劃分為兩種︰

1. 一個月用量︰兩盒30片(共60片),價錢為 HKD 268,已包含運費;

2. 三個月用量︰六盒30片(共180片),價錢為 HKD 720,已包含運費。

How do I edit my subscription? 如何更改我的定期計劃?

You can edit your subscription details by logging in to the customer portal. Here you can change your next delivery date, update your lens prescription, modify the frequency of your deliveries, update your personal and payment details or cancel your subscription.

只需登入您的個人帳戶,您便可更改您的下次訂單日期、度數、送貨週期、個人資料、付款方式、或取消計劃等等。首次登入前,記得先跟隨啟動帳戶電郵指示,啟動您的帳戶並設定您的密碼。

Where can I find my power? 如何知道我的度數?

Your prescription should look something like this:

A minus "-" sign denotes myopia or short-sighted.

A plus "+" sign denotes hyperopia or long sighted.

Please check this carefully to make sure you order the correct prescription.

Prescription

My prescription has an AX and CYL on it. What does that mean? 我的隱形眼鏡度數有AX和CXL,是甚麼意思?

an AX and CYL value on your prescription means you require toric contact lenses for astigmatism.

Unfortunately, Dimple does not offer toric lenses at the moment but we hope to be adding them to our offer in the near future.

AX是散光軸度,CYL則代表散光度數。這表示您需要散光的隱形眼鏡鏡片。

What happens if my eye prescription changes? 我的度數改變了,該怎麼辦?

No problem, you can edit your prescription but logging in to the customer portal.

Can I cancel my subscription? 我可以取消定期計劃嗎?

Definitely, you can do so anytime by logging into the customer portal. At the bottom of the page is a cancel subscription link.  If you have too many lenses you don't have to cancel your subscription - you can also change the frequency of the delivery to match your wearing habits.

Do you offer toric lenses (astigmatism) or multi-focal lenses? 您們有散光或漸進隱形眼鏡嗎?

Unfortunately we do not at this time. We are working on expanding our range of lenses as we grow and hope to be able to cater to most peoples contact lens needs over the next 12 months.

What if I don't wear my contacts every day? 我不是每天使用佩戴隱形眼鏡,每個月兩盒太多了,該怎麼辦?

Easy, you can change the frequency by logging into the customer portal. We offer four delivery schedules to match your wearing habits:

  • Every 4 weeks - for daily use (default),
  • Every 6 weeks - If you wear them most days; or
  • Every 8 weeks - If you wear them every other day
  • Every 12 weeks - If you wear them on occasions.

What is your returns policy? 我想退貨,有甚麼需要留意?

Dimple offers returns on any monthly box items that remain sealed within 30 days of delivery. As these are medical products we unfortunately cannot offer refunds on boxes that have been opened. To read about our returns policy please visit our returns page.

When will my first paid order be shipped? 我的第一個定期計劃訂單將於何時開始?

Your first paid order will be charged 15 days after you place your trial order and shipped within 1 business day. Your subscription will then renew every four weeks (28 days) by default. You can change your delivery frequency or next delivery date through My Account.

How do I change my next refill date? 如何更改我的下次訂單日期?

If you want your next delivery to come sooner, or later, simply log into the customer portal. Next to your upcoming order date click the "edit" button to choose the date you wish to have your next order charged. Note that this is not the delivery date - your order will be picked and dispatched within 1 business day of that charge date.

Can I use my glasses prescription to order contact lenses? 我可以使用我的眼鏡度數處方來訂購隱形眼鏡嗎?

No, they are different and require their own prescriptions from your optometrist. They are different because eyeglass lenses are positioned approximately 12 millimeters from your eyes, whereas contact lenses rest directly on the surface of your eyes. If you do not have a contact lens prescription please book an appointment to see your optometrist.

Can I cancel an order that's been processed? 我可以取消已付款的訂單嗎?

All our subscription orders are processed at around 1-2 PM and shipped within 48 hours. If you notify us of the cancellation request within 60 minutes of the order processing we may be able to cancel the order from being processed. Otherwise, you will need to return the order once it's been delivered to you in order to be issued a refund.

Dimple contacts are proudly manufactured right here in Australia by Gelflex Pty Ltd. Gelflex have been manufacturing contact lenses for 45 years. Dimple 隱形眼鏡由 Gelflex Pty Ltd. 於澳洲製造,其製造隱形眼鏡歷史超過五十年。

Dimple contacts are manufactured from Methafilcon B (43%) and water (57%).

Yes, Dimple contacts are approved by the FDA (USA), CE (Europe) and TGA (Australia).

Dimple contacts come in a single size which has a base curve of 8.6mm and a diameter of 14.3mm.

Unfortunately, we do not offer toric lenses. As we expand our range of products we will be adding toric lenses.

What are the different circle designs on my lenses? 隱形眼鏡包裝上有不同設計及顏色的圓形圖案,它們代表甚麼?

We have designed a first to market, unique circle design/colour system to identify every single power in our contact lens range. If your left and right eyes are different powers then you will be able to tell at a quick glance (even without your glasses on) if that new contact lens is for your right or left eye. Cool huh?

No, Dimple contacts are for single day use only. This offers the best hygiene and convenience for contact lens wearers.

How much do you charge for delivery? 送貨運費是多少?

We charge $28 HKD for delivery of your 10 day free trial. For subscription orders we include free tracked shipping with all our deliveries.

We use Quantium tracked shipping for all deliveries.
Please be aware that SF Locker, SF Station, MCN or iPostal stations are NOT accepted as delivery address.

Payment 付費

What forms of payment do you offer? 你們接受甚麼付費方式?

At the moment, we currently offer AMEX, Visa and Mastercard as payment methods.

What if my card fails on a subscription payment? 假如我的定期計劃訂單付款失敗,該怎麼辦?

You will receive an automated email if your card fails for any reason. The main reasons why this may happen include:

  1. Card has expired;
  2. Card has been maxed out;
  3. Card has been put on hold;

Our subscription platform will try again in three days and then once more three days after that. At the same time, we will do our best to reach you by phone and email to resolve the issue as we really wouldn't want you to run out of your contact lenses.

Do you have general wearing instructions?

Yes, our instructions for wearing your Dimple contacts are printed on the inside of both the trial and subscription boxes.

Disinfection/soaking

Clean and disinfect your lenses following strictly the instructions on your solution bottle or as directed by your Eyecare practitioner. This should limit the existence of potentially harmful bacteria and fungi. If the lenses dry out follow the Disinfection/Soaking step above, replace with new lenses or consult your eye care practitioner.

Precautions

1. We recommend that you replace your lenses frequently and care for them daily. Your eye care practitioner will recommend a wearing regime, but if in doubt ask them for advice. Always follow their recommendations and make regular visits.

2. This lens is designed for daily wear and to be replaced as directed. Any variation to this should only be done on the advice of your eye care practitioner.

3. If your eyes become red or irritated or you experience any pain, remove your lenses immediately and consult your eye care practitioner.

4. Avoid long nails which harbour bacteria. A scratched eye is vulnerable to infection.

5. Replace damaged or scratched lenses immediately.

6. Insert lenses before applying make-up. Remove lenses before removing make-up. Use fibre and oil free mascaras. Avoid contact between your lenses and hair lacquer or other cosmetic aerosols.

7. Keep your lenses out of reach of children.

8. Remove your lenses in the presence of noxious or irritating fumes.

9. Only use your lenses for water sports if water-tight goggles are worn.

10. Single use daily wear lenses are replaced daily and should not be worn more than once. Single use only.

Warnings

1. DON’T sleep in your lenses.
2. DON’T use household products (e.g. disinfectants) on your lenses. They can seriously damage your eyes.
3. DON’T wear your lenses when using eye medications or eye drops (unless advised to do so).
4. DON’T use saliva to wet your lenses.
5. DON’T rinse your lenses or lens case with tap water.

Do you have instructions for putting in/taking out contact lenses?

Instructions for putting in your contact lenses

Putting them in


Always wash and dry your hands before handling your lenses. Remove lens and check that the lens is immersed in fluid. Do not use if the packaging is not sealed.


1. Check that your lens is turned the right way by putting it on your finger. (Fig. 01: not the right way. Fig. 02: the right way.)
2. Use your middle finger to hold your lower eyelid (Fig. 03) down and your other hand to hold your upper lid up. Put the daily on your eye. (Fig. 04) And do it all again on the other side.


Taking them out


Look up and hold down your lower lid. Gently pinch the bottom edge of your daily (easy does it) and lift it out of your eye with the pads of your index finger and thumb. And do the same on the other side.
Only touch your lenses with freshly cleaned hands. Pop the lens out of its pack and check it has been immersed in fluid. Do not use if the packaging is not sealed.

Can the contacts get stuck behind my eye?

The inside of your eyelids are connected to the back of your eye, so don't stress. If you can feel that your lenses have slipped up behind your eyelid our tip is to you lift your eyelid carefully with sterilised fingers and look down. You should feel your lens slowly slide down your eye and either fold over and flip out of your eye, or float back into its original position.

Will the UV protection of the lenses protect my eyes?

UV-absorbing contact lenses are not substitutes for protective UV-absorbing eyewear, such as UV-absorbing sunglasses. You should continue to use UV-absorbing eyewear as directed.

Can I swim in my contacts?

No you must not swim or shower in your contact lenses for risk of contamination.

How long can I wear my contacts for?

Our lenses are designed for single-day wear only. Please remember to discard them after a single day's use.

Can I wear my contacts with makeup?

Put your contact lenses on before applying makeup. And always wash your hands thoroughly before touching your contacts, so you won't transfer any oils, creams or lotions to the lenses.

How do I know if my contact lens is inside out or not?

Place the contact lens on your fingertip and look at it from side-on. If the edge looks like it's flared out rather than forming a "U" shape, it's probably inside out. Refer to the inside of your Dimple box for illustrations. Don't worry, you'll get better at identifying this as your start wearing your lenses regularly.

What do I do if my eyes dry out during the day?

Be sure to use contact lens approved re-wetting drops during dry days. Contact lenses need a very healthy tear consistency to be worn successfully. Spending a lot of time outdoors and out in the sun and wind can create environments where it is difficult for your tear film to keep up with the demand.

How long can I wear my contacts for during the day?

We recommend not wearing your lenses for longer than 8-10 hours a day. We also recommend you give your eyes a rest and take them out at least 2 hours before going to sleep at night. Lastly, our lenses are not made for overnight wear, so please don't sleep in them.

What do I do if I experience any pain or irritation wearing my lenses?

if you are having any unexplained eye discomfort, watering, vision change, or redness, remove any lenses immediately and consult your eye care practitioner before wearing your lenses again.
